2015 Fender Masterbuilt CRUZ 1960 Strat Relic in Excellent nonsmoking condition.  I can’t find any owner-related wear on this one but I’m sure someone will get out the jeweler lupe so we’ll grade it as Exc.   Boy Fender Masterbuilt has come a long way.  This era of production is the highest level I’ve seen since the 90s Page/Stevens Guitars.   I can see why there is such demand for John Cruz pieces.

This Alder Strat weighs in at 7lb-9oz and comes with the original hard G&G case, “Cruz Tools”, CERT (of course) and tags. The nut width is 1-11/16″. The neck is a familiar 60 “D” profile. There is no fretwear on this guitar.  9.5″ Radius makes it familiar feeling.

Something special about Cruz guitars.  This has the unplugged acoustic vibrance that we all use as a test of greatness.  The low E (my test) is clear and ringing.  This almost got squirreled away in my collection…and those who know me know I keep very little.   I’d say it’s one of the best Fender Strats I’ve had in quite some time.
