Ever since my days of youth, the Super Strat has been near & dear to my heart.  I used to own Tony MacAlpine’s (he was my teacher before he was famous….I was the worst player in the history of mankind.  He had a room with pics of stars…he used to put his fingers over the ears of Randy Rhodes when I tried to play that stuff).  Anyway…I’ve had tons including 6 of the $25k Fender EVH creations.

One day I got to thinking…wait just a darn minute.  Most of the products on the markets are nothing more than partscasters.  Lance at LSL hand makes everything.  He cuts & shapes his bodies and necks.  LSL winds their own pickups.  The guitars are consistently fantastic and affordable.  Why don’t I work with LSL on a much needed Superstrat!?

So the concept took root…and here we have 1-of-2 that are the prototypes for this offering.  All I can say is Freaking WOW…honeslty this has the bottom end that ALWAYS used to lack in other guitars. The mids are FULL.  The intonation makes chords sound like walls of tone.  I am not exaggerating when I tell you this is the finest Super Strat I’ve ever played.
