I scour the world for cool handmade instruments.  I seek ones that reak of craftsmanship, playability and quality components.  I crave that resonant ringing of an unplugged guitar.  I found Leo Guitars and everything came together.  They are simply the best value out there and one of the finest guitars made today at any price.

This model is called the Senrior. It features Spanish Cedar Back & Neck.  The guitar is nicely contoured and rests perfectly when standing or sitting.  The weight?…just 6lb-6oz and perfectly balanced.  The neck has binding.  The pickups have a split feature to knock down the ‘oomp’ a bit almost like hum to single.  Speaking of pickups I LOVE these Kloppmann P90s.  The pickups have this nice clarity that reminds me of the real ones in my late 50s Gibson Jr.

This piece just sounds LOUD unplugged.  It rings and plays effortlessly.  The fretwork is smooth and you don’t fight the Rosewood Fingerboard.  The finish is a very thin Nitro that has been lightly aged (the entire guitar) to a very “VOS” type result.  The neck width is 1-11/16″ & the scale is 24.75″.  The neck is a G-style C that feels very familiar to LP lovers.

Do yourself a favor and grab a hand crafted, brand new guitar for less than the price of a stamped out bolt-on made of leftovers.
