Bill Chapin Hawk in rare Korina with a Carved Birch Top & QUILTED Mahogany Neck!   Rare Snakewood Board!  Lollar low-wind pickup in the neck and a Fralin in the bridge.  This guitar even features a push/pull switch that changes the CAPS from Sprague to Paper/Oil!

1.67″ Width & 24.635″ Scale with 12 radius.  No fret wear.  Nice slight V neck that transfers to a comfortable C early on.  This guitar is in Excellent Condition.  At one point it was sent back to Bill Chapin who swapped out the original neck and installed the Quilted Mahogany neck that you now see…I’m told the current neck was one Bill had crafted for himself then decided was perfect for this instrument.

I had the pleasure of playing this guitar and it is a poor man’s Gustavsson for sure.  That tele/paul vibe with a footprint that places it just right in the mix.  See all the specs/condition by clicking the link in red above.
